Jazz: *curls up in Bed with Bee* *snuggles close*
Bee sighs and snuzzles.
Jazz curls close to her and kisses along her helm. "I'm sorry."
"Sorry?" She looks at him.
He nods. "I think yelling at Arcee may've made stuff worse."
Bee sighs again and hides her face, still feeling like the worst friend in the universe. "I can't believe I missed that."
"You know how Arcee is; she's good at hiding. I think with all the stress she just couldn't anymore." He rests his head on hers and sighs. "I hope she'll be alright."
"Me too." She burrows into his arms, feeling her spark ache.
Jazz cuddles her closer, his own spark pulsing soothingly. "Do you still wanna be married to me?"
She lifts her head to look at him. "You're part of me...."
He rubs his forehead to hers. "I don't ever want you to hurt, love." He caresses her face gently with the back of his hand. "All I am is yours now though."
"It's not you." She shutters her optics and reaches for his hand. "I... just feel bad that I never noticed. I know it's not logical."
But she's always been the one willing to die to keep her friends safe.
Jazz kisses her softly. "Love and feelings for friends hardly ever logical." He sighs and squeezes her hand. "I hope more people come soon."
Bee nuzzles close again, absently wondering where Honey is but then finding the sparkling's whereabouts.
She nods. "Optimus isn't doing so great."
He sighs and nods. "He needs Elita." Another kiss. "I was hoping Arcee coming would bolster all of us."
"Sometimes... I wonder if we're going to get past all this," she admits quietly, knowing that she was giving her reputation for always seeing the positive a thump. "I'm so tired of bad stuff."
"Humans say it's always darkest before the sun rises." He nuzzles her and holds her close. "Hang in there, Bee. Keep your chin up."
"I have to." Her voice is still quiet. "Honey needs me."
Jazz kisses her deeply. "We both need you, lady love. We love you." He smiles softly and softly sings in his deep voice. "Blue jean baby, LA lady, seamstress for the band. Pretty eyes, a pirate smile, you married a music man. Ballerina, you must have seen her, dancing in the sand."
Bee gives a staticy little laugh, and then she's crying, her face tucked between his and the vinyl cover of the mattress. It feels like her circuits are going to come loose."And oh how it feels so real, lyin' here, with you near, and only you can hear me as I say softly, slowly,"
His horns lay back on his head and his own shoulders shake, but he continues to sing to her. "Hold me closer, tiny dancer, count the headlights on the highway. Lay me down in sheets of linen, we had a busy day today."
She cries till she gives herself static in the CPU, then lays there and just soaks comfort from her sparkmate, her optics staring at the darkness of her hiding place.
He purrs gently and kisses her as he finishes the song. "Go to sleep, my lady. I promise you, things will look better in the mornin'." He switches to playing more music for her. Soothing old love songs, meant to ease her into sleep.
Bee gives a last sigh, then murmurs, "Ironhide is cuddling Honey."
There's just the tiniest bit of humor returning to her voice as she nestles close and shutters her optics.
Jazz laughs softly. "Sweet of him."
He shutters his optics and joins her in rest.
